1. How did Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein react to President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey?
-he wanted to get Attorney General Jeff Sessions and then-secretary of homeland security John Kelly to invoke section 4 of the 25th am

2. What does Section 4 of the 25th Amendment give the Cabinet the power to do?  Why would they do this?
-the cabinet can dismiss the president and put the president in charge
-they would do this if they feel the president is incompetent

3. What does Congress do if the Cabinet exercises this power?
-congress has to vote on the if the president opposes the vice president’s and the cabinet's decision

4. What happened to the presidency when James Garfield or Woodrow Wilson were unable to fulfill their duties as POTUS?
-they just kinda stayed president even though they could not use their power because there was no protocol

5. What event finally got Congress to address the problems with presidential succession?
-JFK’s assassination and following secession debate

6. Besides the powers addressed in #2, what else is covered in the 25th Amendment?
-if the POTUS dies or is impeached, the VP officially becomes POTUS
-after this, the POTUS would nominate a VP and both the HoR and Senate would have to vote on them
-unhealthy presidents can give VPs full power momentarily until the POTUS is healthy

7. What would have to happen in order for VP Mike Pence to assume power right now?
-Pence and 8 Cabinet members would have to submit in writing that Trump is unable to rule to the Speaker of the House and the Senate’s president pro tem

8. What does "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office." mean?
-anything that the vp and cabinet wants it to mean

9. What could the president do if he disagrees with his Cabinet?
-the POTUS can tell the Speaker of the House and the Senate’s president pro tem that he is fit to rule and will get his power back in 4 days
UNLESS the vp and the cabinet submits a writing again that says they still think he is unfit
-the house and senate would vote on it again

10. How does this article differentiate this action from a coup?
-it is legal and constitutional
-there is a legislative process behind it
-it requires documentation and court appeals

-it can get out of hand real quick though
